Our Mission is to provide standard veterinary care for pets. Our veterinarians provide urgent care services for injuries and illnesses. We also offer a well-equipped in-house laboratory and digital X-ray services in order to get rapid reviews from the radiologist if needed. We utilize the safest anesthetics available. The patient’s vital signs are monitored with multi function vital signs monitor during all the anesthetic procedures. We offer routine spays and neuters for dogs, cats at discounted prices. We also provide services for majority of soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries.

DR. HARDEEP KATARIA
Dr. Hardeep Kataria is the owner and founder of Twin Rivers Animal Hospital. He established this hospital in Kamloops in 2013.
Dr. Kataria completed his schooling in 1999 and then he did his masters in veterinary pathology in 2002 and then he joined as Assistant Professor in the University for 8 years. He has 15 years of experience in veterinary medicine. He worked in lower mainland and Vancouver area as an associate before he decided to settle in Kamloops. I like the demography and communities in Kamloops. Dr Kataria has interest in small animal internal medicine, soft tissue surgeries and preventive veterinary medicine.
DR. KESHWINDER SINGH
Entered Veterinary profession with great zeal and dedication in 2002 at GADVASU Ludhiana, India. Got graduated in 2007 and started treating lovely creatures of god since 2007. After showing my equivalency with CVMA, I started treating fur babies in Canada in 2020. I always wanted to be an instrumental part of society through these adorable creatures.
During my leisure time I love exploring natural beauty with my family.
Meet Maverick – our enigmatic mascot! Maverick enjoys hanging around the clinic, lounging, and checking out all the comings and goings. Mavericks hobbies include chasing things, smelling things, and snoozing. Maverick has a bachelor degree in cuteness, and is a visitor favourite. Be sure to say hello when you visit us next!
Growing up Lorena wanted to be a veterinarian and has been volunteering and working at various
Veterinary Hospitals to gain valuable experience. She is now completing a Bachelor of Science with a
Major in Biology at Thompson Rivers University while preparing for Veterinary school. Her hobbies
include playing classical trumpet, soccer, and hanging out with her cat.
Debbie was raised on a farm in Quebec where she had worked with various livestock. In 2014 she moved to Alberta fulfilling her passion for horses and has spent several years working in the Equine industry.
She moved to Kamloops in 2021 and decided to focus on her love for small animals.
Debbie enjoys spending her free time riding horses, gardening and spoiling her dog with love.
Aksh started working here part time in February 2018 and now took a role of an Office Administrator Assistant at Twin Rivers. I have completed my Post graduation in International Business from Thompson Rivers University. He is rewarded by the unconditional love and cuddles he gets from the animals he works with. He has a dog named “Gaby”. He is deeply passionate about taking care of the animals and building relationships with clients. Besides spending time with pets, he enjoys hiking and lakes in his free time.
HARPREET KAUR WALIA
Hey! I’m Harpreet. I have received a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Management from Thompson Rivers University in 2019. My passion is drawing, sketching, painting, and being around animals. Spending time with cats and dogs rarely makes a dull day.
Brielle Polischuk was born and raised in Kamloops, BC and will be graduating her grade 12 year of secondary school in 2022. After coming to Twin Rivers Animal Hospital in February of 2021, Brielle realized that helping animals and ensuring that they receive the best care possible is a major passion of hers. Brielle hopes to take her academic achievement in school and this novel fervour to not only pursue a career involved in medical or veterinary studies, but to make a difference in improving the health of several patients. In her spare time she enjoys exploring the outdoors, loves to paint, and values the importance of remaining active no matter where she is.
Amanda has been working at Twin Rivers Animal Hospital since May 2020 as a Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist. She has a background in animal care, training, and enrichment from previous work at the SPCA. She is a dedicated passionate individual who loves working with animals and assisting in their care and wellbeing.
She hopes to one day advance her studies by becoming a Veterinary Technician. Working her way to one day care for large cats such as tigers.
