How do referrals work?

When it comes to your pet’s health, they deserve the best medical care they can get. When your pet gets referred to another hospital, clinic, or veterinarian, they’re being sent in the right direction to optimal care. When they need that extra bit of care, our hospital can refer you to veterinarians and specialists that can provide medical care tailored to your pet’s medical needs. If your veterinarian sent you our way and you’re visiting us for the first time, you’re in great hands. Our pet-loving and compassionate team of veterinarians are highly trained and will always put your loyal companion’s health and needs first.

What should I bring with me to my pet’s appointment?

Usually, just you and your pet are all you’ll need. Before your appointment, your primary team would have sent over everything we need to know to get your pet back to feeling their best in no time. If you were referred to our hospital unless instructed otherwise, there is no need to bring any additional documents or items to the appointment. Your pet’s medical history and information will all be on file. If you have any questions or concerns, you are more than welcome to give us a call before or during your pet’s course of treatment. Our team will also keep your primary team updated on your pet’s progress.
